Review of Swissbau 2024

Swissbau 2024 was a hotspot for ground-breaking developments, and Seven-Air set new standards in indoor pool ventilation and dehumidification technology with the use of CO2 as a natural refrigerant. In view of possible bans on synthetic refrigerants under the Chemical Risk Reduction Ordinance (ORRChem), CO2 could offer an alternative solution for heat pumps.

Academy as guest in Lucerne's Seetal

On 4 July 2023, Seven-Air Gebr. Meyer AG welcomed the air-conditioning technology students to the production plant in Hitzkirch LU. After the 11 participants had learned the tools of ventilation technology in the previous semester, they were able to see live at Seven-Air how a real ventilation unit is created from the planning. This comprehensive value chain from raw sheet metal to the finished air handling unit can only be experienced in Switzerland at Seven-Air.

Summerfreshness

Cooling without a refrigeration system - Thanks to the particularly efficient adiabatic cooling on the exhaust air side of the Recocool system air-conditioning unit, a refrigeration system can be dispensed with in many cases. Thanks to the high evaporation capacity, wetting takes place with 100% fresh water. This results in great ecological and economic advantages.

Air is our life - for 50 years

On 29 September 2022, Seven-Air Gebr. Meyer AG celebrated its 50th anniversary together with 300 guests at the KKL in Lucerne. Tobias and Christoph Meyer presented an exciting retrospective of the milestones in the history of Seven-Air.

Good solutions also require well-trained specialists. Since the company was founded in 1971, Seven-Air Gebr. Meyer AG has placed great emphasis on vocational training. Seven-Air enables young people to enter professional life by completing an apprenticeship at its own manufacturing plant in Hitzkirch LU or at its headquarters in Lucerne.

Conversion Cityport Zurich

This refurbishment project focuses on the factors of energy and hygiene. With new energy-efficient fans, energy consumption is significantly reduced. Thanks to the new modern humidification system, water and energy are saved.

7-Air learners on a voyage of discovery

At the beginning of August, motivated apprentices started their professional training at Seven-Air. We extend a warm welcome to these young professionals!

Currently, twelve apprentices are completing their training in our company in seven different apprenticeships. We train the young people with joy and commitment and accompany them on their way to a professional future.

High-ranking visitor

As part of the visit to innovative companies in the Canton of Lucerne, Seven-Air Gebr. Meyer AG also had the honour of welcoming the President of the Swiss Confederation, Guy Parmelin, on 13th August 2021. During a tour of the factory, Seven-Air, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2021, was able to demonstrate its high level of vertical integration and product quality, as well as its importance as an employer for the Lucerne Seetal.

Roche relies on Swiss quality

Site development Roche Basel: After the two office towers Building 1 and 2, the company Seven-Air Gebr. Meyer AG was also awarded the contract to supply the ventilation units for the buildings of the new research centre.

After the successful realisation in the office towers Building 1 and 2, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG is relying on continuity and Swiss quality. With buildings 4 to 7, a new research centre with modular office and laboratory workplaces, auditoriums and cafeterias is being built on the Roche site in Basel.

50 years

50 years of dehumidification with the professional

ECOKON, the compact dehumidification unit, offers multifunctional use with a dehumidification capacity of 0.98 to 9.4 kg/h at an air volume flow of 300 to 3200 m3/h. The two-stage dehumidification system ensures energy-efficient dehumidification thanks to the condensation principle with refrigeration system and heat recovery.

The solution is called redevelopment. Our throwaway society has a tendency to remove old things and replace them with new ones. This can quickly become expensive in the case of "monobloc" ventilation units. But this is not necessary. Ingenious renovation solutions make it possible to carry out a cost-effective conversion.
